Projection Spot Welder
W.P.I. Taiwan produces Pneumatic/foot type spot welding machines. You can choose a machine for spot welding only or one that handles both spot and projection welding. Both spot and projection welding are resistance welding ways to fuse metal sheets in commonly seen industries, including automotive, home appliance, and industrial applications.
Pneumatic/foot type spot welding machines are fixed stations of spot/projection welding machines. Spot welding is a type of welding that uses electricity to heat and melt two pieces of metal together at a specific point. It is in a traditional way. Projection welding is an advanced type of welding that uses pressure and electricity to join metal parts with projections or nuggets. These projections help to strengthen the workpiece.
The operator can position the workpiece with two free hands while using a pedal to control the welding process.
