Innovations in Steel Pallet Assembly

Steel pallets are composed of multiple frames, square tubes, and steel sheets, assembled in a fixed arrangement that is not suitable for movement. Previously it was welded using manual gas welding, which was time-intensive, labor-intensive, and environmentally unfriendly. By transitioning to spot welding, we have achieved faster assembly speeds, reduced costs, and minimized environmental impact.

Steel pallets often feature multiple layers with numerous weld points in their design. Fixed spot welders face limitations, such as bulky electrodes unable to access narrow support grooves or the confined spaces within pallet layers. Our portable spot welder with scissor-type weld guns offers a tailored solution. Its slim and customizable electrode arms easily reach into tight gaps, ensuring precise welding even in hard-to-access areas. With truss-assisted movement along X and Y axes, the welder can seamlessly work around the pallet without needing to rotate or reposition it.

Advanced Welding for Steel Fire Doors

Steel fire doors demand a balance of strength, fireproofing, and a flawless finish. The steel sheet thickness varies depending on fire-resistance rating and their large, heavy panel present challenges during manufacturing. WPI Taiwan's portable spot welder with long arms reaches up to 600mm deep, making it easy to weld reinforcements, such as stiffeners, even at the center of the panel.

For sealing open ends with C channels, our specialized electrode arms, designed for steel doors, fit into tight 40mm spaces, delivering flawless welds. Additionally, using WPI Taiwan proprietary swivel tip (universal flat electrodes), we ensure smooth, dent-free surfaces—essential for the premium aesthetics of steel door panels.
