  • Equipment Requirements: Due to aluminum's high thermal and electrical conductivity, an MFDC (Medium Frequency Direct Current) inverter spot welding machine is required to deliver precise heat control, high current, and stable energy output. 

  • Answer: To eliminate surface indentations and ensure a flat weld finish, use a flat electrode or a swivel (universal) electrode tip. This distributes the electrode force evenly across the workpiece.

  • MFDC Inverter DC Spot Welder: Delivers continuous, uninterrupted welding heat without energy gaps, resulting in faster heat accumulation, higher energy efficiency, and extended electrode life. It is ideal for high-precision applications and aluminum. 

  • Conventional AC Spot Welder: Uses alternating current that cycles on and off rapidly, leading to intermittent heating and thermal loss. This increases the risk of weld spatter and uneven weld quality on sensitive metals..
