FAQ

  • Superior Performance: Alumina-copper (Al2O3-Cu) electrode caps offer exceptional softening resistance, high thermal stability, and excellent anti-sticking properties, significantly extending overall electrode life.

  • Galvanized Sheet Welding: Because Al2O3-Cu nanoparticles do not dissolve into molten copper, they effectively prevent zinc sticking when welding galvanized steel sheets, drastically reducing electrode wear and maintenance downtime.

  • Answer: Yes. All cutter blades and holders in our tip dressers are engineered for quick, modular replacement. This design simplifies routine electrode maintenance, minimizes equipment downtime, and lowers total consumable costs.

  • Answer: There is no fixed timeline. Electrode lifespan depends heavily on multiple production factors, including welding parameters, duty cycle, cooling efficiency, and the type of material being welded (e.g., galvanized steel vs. aluminum).

  • Maintenance Rule: Electrodes should undergo regular tip dressing to maintain tip geometry and must be replaced when face deformation or severe wear occurs to ensure consistent weld quality and nugget strength.
